finding a way to make newly created mobiles save-able/ & pastable is the key:confused: the only reason "i havent touched xml stuff to create individual custom mobiles is because it is repetitive & time consuming not practical for test servers which could wipe out saves, (if your me & I am)...
my guess is wrong map size in the xml file
or maybe you do not have all the client files in the folder you directed to the editor
they should be the same folder your maps are in
make sure your paths are the same in the CedServer xml & the Cedplus login menu

@tass23 thats all well & good but i think hes trying to make edits to an existing addon so i was just throwing that out there as way to edit the addon & then save it so he can place it as he wants to. not sure size is even an issue for him so ya
centred is the best way to edit hues & replace...
couldnt you place the addon then freeze it to map. take the map files edit with centred plus then put it back in client folder. then if you wanted copy it again with uo architect or create a new addon with add gen? if you want to place it in more than one place

its the "status" that resets to inactive on server restart the Kingdom stays set
the status has 3 options
Innactive,
Join,
Leave
its default setting is innactive, so i set a stone props it...
:rolleyes:i was playing around with this alignment system everything works fine. I add the stone then set join, change inactive to the desired alignment, it changes/displays alignment & everything but after I restart server the join stone reverts to inactive... :eek:why it do that?

Yea I edit maps separate in case of mistakes or I change my mind but Im working on completely custom maps. Also you should not use ced and a live shard on the same computer at the same time ie the files & port should be different I moved ced to my off line test shard computer so there's no worry...
1.your map files go into the Server client (the main folder of the client your server runs off of)
2. in your main server folder there is a folder called ultima live _ in that folder there should be a folder with your servers name put them there as well.

okay I was working on some fully functional Angel Demon wings but put project on hold until i find a client i can add items & mounts in it seems to be one or the other its driving me nuts..... The problem my uofiddler the item tab or the tile data tab when I hit show free slots it only goes up...
