Heat of Battle has been improved many times and basically all previously reported bugs have been fixed, but now we have recently noticed two more elements that need to be corrected:
- if the player attacks his pet (eg in the house) but also outside it - for example on champes (even accidentally), this causes that this pet receives criminal (gray) status. Only after leaving it for some time - the pet regains the status of blue(innocent);
- being in a party and additionally in the same guild, if a friend pets is attacked by other party/guild member (even accidentally), we have Heat of Battle (which should not take place) and then the players' pets are constantly attacking or attacking pets owners (with HOB).

Are you sure the pet is criminal, and not just grey as being on your aggressor/aggressed list?

And yes, you are HOB if you attack another persons pet, just as you are for attacking the owner.

The second problem is that if a group of players (example guildmate party) performs a task together ( for example a champion spawn) and during a fight, a player will deal damage to another player's pet (party member) - even accidentally (what happens when fighting in such a concentration of players, pets / creatures), this animal treats the player who dealt such damage as an oponent. As a consequence of which, for example, party pets begin to fight with pets of player who dealt such damage :)
In short, pets of group members, instead of fighting with an opponent, attack other group members and their pets.

If they are guarded, this will happen. The only way a pet is attacking another pet is if its guarding, or you directly tell it to attack. This is normal behavior.

We checked what this status looks like - the pet then becomes gray (gray) - if the player uses the "target nerest hostile" option, then the target also includes the pet
