Server Overview
Name: Kal Vas Flam
Era: Pre-T2A
Current Phase: Alpha pre
Kal Vas Flam is an pre-T2A server, the aim of this project is to bring to our players a "Wild West" old school UO feel. "The Way It Was" if you will. We aim to replicate the world of Sosaria as it was up to the last patch of '97. Here is a list of the patches http://wiki.uosecondage.com/1997_Patch_Notes
This will give you an overview of what the mechanics will be like somewhat. We have taken a repack running RunUO 2.2 that has many of the mechanics in place already but is in need of alot of fine tuning and back-end mechanics reworks. As of this moment it is just a couple of us working on what we can and fixing bugs the best we know how. There is much to be done.
A note to any programmer/coder out there that is reading this post, the code in this repack is sometimes not very well organised and is in some cases outright sloppy. Coder Beware
We would welcome anyone who is interested in scripting, world decoration/modding, event planning and/or overall Gamemastery. This would not be a paid opportunity just a few hobbyists who love this kind of stuff. I have been working on UO projects for years only because it's something nostalgic and relaxing to do. KVF is not a place where you have to be plugged in 24/7. We understand everyone has to have a work/life/hobby balance and so do we.
