On OSI (again, this is pre-SA/HS) if you were standing at the edge of your boat you could be hit by melee attacks. There was only like two spots on a small boat that you could stand and be out of range of melee.

Yes, it works as far as you are hit with long range weaps or spells (tested using pirate ships captain).
But I noticed krakens & sea serpents are unable to reach you with melee. I will double test to confirm.
I concur, they can't reach you, though projectiles/spells can, hence the player died and was stranded, hehe.

The core for my server is already modified, are there many merges necessary to implement those boats?

Had another tokuno Galleon deletion.(I didn't get the -debug report) but will try to get one.
This was the ONLY galleon out on the server just so you know and had been in use for about 4 weeks without issue. I do restarts at least twice a week.

Hello and sorry for letting everyone without any news. Having two full time jobs doesn't help having free time .... Lol ...

But about the boats, I can only say that with time things will get easier for me and I'll be able to work again on the High Seas Ships. :)

But if someone wants to help, that would be great opportunity for me to share.

Btw, could anyone resume all the bugs encountered ?

current state with High Seas:
Ships: bug is still existing casting spells such as recall and some battle spells while in control of the ships wheel, will cause the player to be stuck with the boat mounted, this last time only way to clear the player, is the GM command .dismount
Ships: problem still exists where player as a ghost cannot leave the ship, also cannot set security while a ghost, in order for another player to board the ship to resurect the player.

It looks like there are a few overrides to add... Probably with the latest changes.

What version of the New Boats are you using ?

I think latest I wrote was 2.13...

Let me check my scripts and send you a link to that latest version.

You should at least use 2.12, which you can find by reading the whole thread ;-)

Long reading, I know, but it's also worth it for documentation... :p

Getting there step by step ... I have a few more bugs thanks to some of my friends testing it with me.
I'll give all the credits later :)

btw, don't forget I wasn't at the source of the code. And I've learned a lot being part of this community. Plz don't fight each other for credits (we're not in Star Wars lol)
