Would be cool. I actually played on Siege and still have characters there. There are a LOT of changes for that config to work however. Not sure if demand would be worth the time.
 
IMHO the biggest part of the work would be to list all the changes that are needed. But to actually implement those changes, I don't think it's that much. If someone takes the time in compiling all the changes, I would be willing to contribute with some code.
 
1. Remove insurance
2. Remove Trammel, Felucca ruleset everywhere
3. No recall, sacred journey or any travel spell except gating.
4. One character per account.
5. Major changes to skill gain, uses ROT instead of GGS, skills have daily cap.
6. Max stat gain 11 points per day.
7. Vendors do not buy from players.
8. Vendors do not sell resources (except regs).
9. NPCs don't train skill.
10. Vendors cost 3x more.
11. Cannot mark in dungeons or anywhere in T2A
12. Siege bless allows you to bless one item.
13. Most artifacts are not blessed with the exception of a few reward items.
14. Clothing Bless Deeds only work on plain clothing.
15. Red characters can go anywhere, guard ignore them unless they commit criminal action.
16. Most objects have a limited number of uses.
17. Faction system is very different (although no longer active anyway).

Skills & Stats
  • Rate Over Time skill gain
    • Skill points for skills less than 70 points will gain as normal shards.
    • Skill points for skills between 70 and 79.9 points will have a delay of 5 minutes between points gained.
    • Skill points for skills between 80 and 89.9 will have a delay of 8 minutes between points gained.
    • Skill points for skills between 90 and 99.9 will have a delay of 12 minutes between points gained.
    • Skill points for skills between 100 and 109.9 will have a delay of 15 minutes between points gained.

  • Players will be allowed to gain 15 stat points a day.

Items
  • Musical instruments, fishing poles, herding crooks, scissors, axes used for lumberjacking, and other bladed objects will wear down and break with use
  • 7th Anniversary Items are not blessed
NPCs
  • Shopkeeper NPCs do not buy items from players
  • Shopkeeper NPCs charge 3x more for the items they sell
  • Shopkeeper NPCs do not sell any resources (Ingots, Cloth, etc.))
  • Hireling NPCs charge 3x more for their services
  • NPCs do not carry gold in their backpacks, preventing it from being stolen or looted on death

Blood Moss, Mandrake Root Allows you to open/manipulate objects from a distance. Will ‘shake’ a trapped chest, springing a trap (except on Siege Perilous or Mugen) or open an unlocked door.
 
This would be awesome! I made a siege shard and had to change all of that stuff you have listed. Would be super cool to have a config for it to switch to the ruleset.
 
On July 16 1999 Siege Perilous was opened. During this time I'm pretty sure you could not do that. If I'm wrong then IDK. A good resource to test might be UODemo. :D

There are waiting milestone tasks. In my opinion they should have higher priority than Siege Perilious ruleset.
 
I have opened a new branch called Siege Perilious. If you are interested, please help me test this sucker out. Honestly, there was not alot of edits, just several siege checks for specific behavior.

Oh I see how you have it the menu is on your characters menu not the item haha nice
 
The spell Mark does not seem to work properly. If i am in Britain for instance mark does nothing when I try to use it. There isn't even a message "thy spell does not appear to work". If I am in Ilshenar I get the message when trying to use mark. Dungeons are good I get the message that it doesn't work. Gate Travel is the same result as mark. Can't use it at all and get no message when in a city like brit but do get the message in dungeons. Also 7th anniversary items are still blessed.

Thats why there is no message. If there is a message, do you have a source of information for that?
Recall is good . You should still be able to use Mark and gatetravel though in town. Unless in the lost lands I believe.
 
I dont see any changes on Mark, and the only change on the Gatetravel I saw was in regards of murderers and the felluca ruleset in conjunction with the Siege system.
 
That's weird. All I know is it's not working for me. lol When I try to use mark or gate razor highlights the reagents in red as if its gonna use them for the spell but nothing happens. :D

NPC's also still carry gold in their backpacks. Carpenters sell nails and boards. Real estate Brokers sell blank scrolls(Not sure if thats considered a resource). Bowyer sells shafts and feathers.

Anything that cannot be made via crafting or obtained by other means, should not be left off as a resource, such as malleable alloy and blank scrolls. Nails is a tool. Check it now. Here is what I have fixed and committed:

- removed boards, shafts, feathers, wool, cotton from vendor buy list
- removed 'sell' context menu entry, ie vendors can no longer buy items
- Mark and gate now works properly
- Removed message when attempting to recall/sacred journey
 
Cool I'll check it out and test skill gains today. :D I don't know why but I thought you used to be able to craft blank scrolls. lol

Thats not right, should be 5 minutes between gains. Is that's time span or actual time?

Edit: NM it's time span. Good to go. I need to save the skill table for those folks who restart thier server daily. That way the skill/stat gain tables don't reset twice.
