i dont have responsability about Player Action of my Shard, i dont know this Spamm of my Player on other Shard. Sorry for Inconvenience

Better then the UOAddiction guys who were able to flood the ninth virtue such big, that without ban + reboot of shard no solution were possible.
Within 10 Minutes they spammed a few thousand messages and logged out before an Admin were able to pull.Thank god we had logs :)
 
Honestly, I think any shard that has shown a history of spamming other shards in this manner should be prevented from advertising here for period of time/permanently if continuously repeated. This method of attaining players is completely unacceptable and harms the UO community.

Also, I'm seeing very similar comments in another previously advertised by Jeeg. So, forgive me but the re-occurrence can't help but raise a few flags.

I agree here with Mogster. From a Mod standpoint if any proof of this comes to light, I'll be talking to the other staff regarding removal of your shard advertisements.

@JEEG84 - I would suggest you let those who play on your shard(s) (staff, admin and players) know that this is HIGHLY disrespectful to not only you, the entire UO freeshard community, but more importantly the shards/servers which you/they/whoever are spamming for your benefit and/or on your behalf.
 
Yes we have heard about this server and JEEG84 not only here but also on Craftuo in the past with this problem, plus on Runuo. Seriously I really don't get the need for server's to feel as though this is an OK thing to do. Any owner of server can control what their player's do in more ways then one, so I don't agree with his response of

So if players on your shard are spamming another shard login information on your shard that is okay? Taking this quote to an extreme, do you allow cheating on your shard?

If you yourself are not harassing other shards then I suggest you find out which of your players on your shard are doing this and punish them appropriately. That is if you want to save any of your public reputation.
 
As per the many discussions here, and the evidence of logs and other such information. I am locking this thread as negative to the overall community that is Ultima Online. The UO community is small enough without these kind of underhanded tactics taking place. You as the owner of the server, the person in charge of all the rules, are responsible for the actions of your player base. If you can't see that then you may be more detrimental to this community than beneficial.

You may consider this a post removal without prejudice, this one misguided decision (to ignore your players actions) does not mean that you are a toxic member of ServUO. We hope that future interactions will be more pleasant.
