CentrED+ & Linux, or alternatives

Hi all, is there any hope to be able to run CentrED+ on a linux server? I read that it seems it can only run on windows environment and that it is no longer supported

As an alternative to CentrED+ is there any tool that can replace it worthily in linux environment?
