animations coming out wrong colors

I'm trying to replace the standard bow with a small gun but the colors come out funky, how do you use UOfiddler to properly use the correct colors?

its coloring in the middle of the gun black for some reason

This is not caused by any program edit ultima online. In each frame it is probably black or another shade. After staining it then has a black appearance. You need to edit the individual frame animations. And be careful, 100% black and white client reads as transparent.
