Did you know that,

151 years ago, a major racial riot broke out in Memphis, between white policemen and mobs against black soldiers and resident. This event lead to 46 black man dead, 5 black woman raped, many more injured and robbed, schools and churches burned out in the black community, causing many black people to leave the city and never come back. The death toll for the white was only 2 man. This riot heavily influenced the passage of the Fourtheenth amendment to the United States Constitution on July 9th 1868.
