Having an issue with SMTP forwarding for my servers email registration

Hi, was wondering if anyone could provide further insight into why my gmail isn't forwarding registrations? I enabled Pop3 and IMAP in my gmail settings and this is how I have the settings within the script.

Host: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP port: 587
SSL protocol: false
SMTP Username: *MY GMAIL USER*
SMTP Password: *MY GMAIL PASS*

If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated!
