Hey i wanted to change the grass tiles, for some reason the ones next to the coast appear darker:

the ones in the green circle are the ones i want, the one in the red circle are the ''issue''

anyone knows why this happens?

One is landtile and one is texture maybe?
I m not sure to be honest i used same image to both, texture and land.

Both are same TileID

I just wonder if im ussing the same image why those appear darker

You have to darken the LandTile images. It's the same in the original files. If you press Ctrl L in Adobe Photoshop, adjust the level in the table from 255 to about 230. You have to feel it according to the given image. This way you only darken the LandTile files. Do not edit the texture. And in the game you will know it by the fact that flat terrain is landtile. Shaped terrain is represented by texture.

Even terrain (same Z for adjecent tiles) is rendered as landtiles and uneven terrain will use texture both have different way of drawing/rendering so both are rendered differently you need to make one of them a bit lighter or darker :)
