MAPs from shard that gone offline?

Sins I'm digging throw old sites that don't exist anymore. I do sometimes come across custom made map files.

Is that any interest in saving them?

Next part is a "copyright" question sins I don't know how or then they were created.

One example is Underworld an Italian shard with custom maps and gumps made for UO Client 2.0.3
