Does anyone have an experience with this? I ran a rather large shard for 5 years, and the achilies heel to it was the flat file saves that eventually get grossly out of control.
Skip ahead to 2019, a lot of my old staff and players have been messaging me asking me to resurect the shard. I'd love to launch it again under ServUO, and noticed that in the Vita-Nex Core there is a MySQL script folder. Is this working? Anything special I need to know? I didn't see anything to build tables within the DB (just a connector). Does anyone have this info and how I push my saves to go through SQL vs flat file?
