Plug and Play Economy Booster


The AutoBuy System enhances your ServUO shard’s economy by simulating player purchases from player vendors, ensuring items sell and the market stays active. Fully configurable and packed with features, it’s easy to integrate and tweak to fit your server’s needs.​

Key Features​

  • Dynamic Pricing: Uses average prices from all player vendors to determine item values (requires at least 10 items for a valid average).
  • Delayed Purchases: Items must be listed for 7 days (adjustable) before the system considers buying, giving players time to purchase first.
  • Randomized Buying: 50% chance (configurable) to buy eligible items, adding unpredictability to prevent market manipulation.
  • Price Caps: Maximum purchase price of 10,000 gold (adjustable) to keep spending in check.
  • Daily Spending Limit: Optional limit (default 10,000,000 gold) to control the system’s daily expenditure.
  • Item Deletion: Purchased items are deleted to maintain server performance and prevent clutter.
  • Staff Vendor Control: Staff can place vendors named “Marker” (configurable) to influence market averages without items being purchased. Recommended to place in hidden areas like Green Acres.
  • Modifiers for Special Items:
    • Crafted Resources: Adjusts prices based on resource type (e.g., Valorite, Barbed Leather).
    • Item Quality: Accounts for Low, Normal, or Exceptional quality.
    • Artifacts: Supports rarity-based pricing for artifacts.
  • Free Item Handling: Option to destroy free items with a configurable chance, preventing market flooding.
  • Price Logging: Use the [ABLOG command to export a PriceTrackerLog.txt file with all items and their average costs.
  • Persistent Data: Market averages and daily limit state are saved across server restarts for a consistent economy.
  • Console Feedback: Color-coded console messages for easy monitoring of system activity.

All settings are centralized in Settings.cs, allowing easy tweaks to:​
  • Purchase delays, chances, and price buffers.
  • Daily spending limits and maximum purchase prices.
  • Support for artifacts, quality, resources, and free item destruction.
  • Staff vendor naming and behavior.
