Age of Valor is a custom shard hosted in Canada that strives to offer a stable and fun environment to play in. We do our best to keep things balanced in game and while we are a custom shard we do not go overboard. We plan anything new before it is released and make sure it will not be overpowered, etc. We have lot of OSI content and we tend to implement what they do, but we may change it up as needed or based on our own guess of how they may do it. At this point we have ML and we are working on SA. though our general direction now will mostly be custom expansions as those can be more fun than trying to copy something that is already done.
We also have a good coding and IT background, making this shard very stable. We even rewrote the save system so that it does not interrupt your game play. They are completely seamless. All little things that add up to make it a solid setup. Our population is lacking at this point, I wont pretend and tell you otherwise, but if you want a stable cozy environment this is it! We will be working on adding more content that can be soloed, as well as a Wiki outlining all the custom stuff.
As a bonus, in about 3 months from now there will be a massive cluster of IDOCs, so get your chars started and get ready for a big one. We decided to shut down the shard several years ago, but recently got the itch to reopen it so all the houses of people who did not return will drop at that point. You can think of as a new shard but with established code and world.
As the population increases, we will also have zero risk events that auto run, such as CTF and PVP tournaments, and we may add more in the future. This system is fully automated.
