Hail ye, Adventurer! I am Alkh3m, the creator of UO Horizon. I work alongside Vrark who does our custom artwork and together we have decided we would like to open our own horizons. This is not a temporary approach. Our goal is to create a long lasting and engaging Ultima Online environment.
We are seeking out those of you who absolutely love Ultima Online. Horizon has been in development for many years now and we are finally growing into the need for new hands... creative, passionate and driven ones!
If you have a passion for world building: we use a custom map of Old Sosaria circa Ultima 3 by Eri. There are over 20 dungeons/caves/forts/outposts. Some of our projects include spawning, expanding the desert/snowy regions and generally decorating the current dungeons/overworld.
If you enjoy creative writing or lore building: we have a multi faceted backstory of lore with dragons, deities and a whole new world of towns and dungeons to be written about.
If you have a knack for code: we are constantly writing and improving on established UO systems.
Do you have media and advertising gifts? Are you someone with video editing experience? We have a spot for you ^.^
If you just enjoy playing Ultima Online, we need players to test our realm! We have a long way to go and with your help when we get to our destination it will be a great experience for all!
No matter what you do, let us know. We are currently in an "alpha" stage of production. We have been building the foundation from which we will expand into our capacity. That foundation is ready to be pushed to it's limit. There are still unspawned dungeons and zones so with your help we can iron out the kinks before we begin to fill out the rest of our map.
I am looking for someone who fits in with our principles of fairness, "no pay-to-win", long-term vision and dedication.
