"hello world"

i call myself korm.
since the Mittelerde project(LOTR-UO) i have been construction helper on various smaller german projects. (most of them never reached publication)
my specialization are shabby buildings. ruins, farms, huts.

besides, sometimes i get ideas to pixel some most needed items for uo. like a Southwalder cherrycake...
(something went wrong. i can't post my pics here. so URLs only)

or fishy things http://kormsen.info/uo-graphik/fischfang2s.bmp

now and then i take existing graphics (from anywhere) and try to adapt them for the game.

some years ago i was fed up with trying to realize other persons dreams and forgot about uo.
now my interest arose again.

why i registered here? well, i'm just curious, if the gras on your side of the fence is greener.

Hey kormsen,

welcome to the forum ;)
also nice art, massive ropes that the poor guy tried to make ;D

Very awesome graphics for sure! Welcome to ServUO- we do have a Art/graphics forum if you ever decide to share your work :) Have them all in jpg if you still have a problem with upload pls inform us.

thank you both for the welcome.

.jpg?? if i upload .jpgs, nobody can use them!
imho .bmp keeps best the oldfashioned uo-feel. in 24bit, or even better in 254 colours...
i'm afraid, the upload probs have to do with my XP and firefox. (have the same probs at a model railroad forum with the same software as yours)

most of my arts and pics are free to use for everybody. only exception are things, like the ropemaker's, that i made specially for a shard. those i don't feel free to share.

but, if i'm in the right mood, i make smaller things on demand as well. like wedding cakes or similar.

True if your posting them ready to use then you wouldn't want to change them :) I'm going to send this to the correct forum

Milva had in mind the use of jpg format for displaying on the web platform. Even if you put it on grafikportal (uo-pixel.de), it would also have to be in jpg format. But downloading would be done by archiving bmp files. Exactly: jpg for web preview and bmp archived for download.

No, I used bb codes of the local forum. Press Ctrl P. A pop-up menu will appear. Select By URL and enter the image address.
If for some reason you could not do this, the far right is a Toggle BB code. This will turn off BB Code menus and you can enter it yourself manually, for example like this:
