Hello,
Dawn is a humble attempt by a few friends and myselt at recreating some of our favorite hobby shards and after some months and help from here and the community at runuo, we are ready enough to start trying to grow our player base.

Our goal was to build a shard with the familiar classic feel and rekindle the sense of excitement and accomplishment that was felt from our early days as happy, ignorant, newbs. That and a focus back to community and commerce, and remove the "endgame", to break the " macro 15 characters to gm everything, buy a tower, pvp, quit" cycle. We wanted to create a long term shard where a character is never really "complete" and every character will be truly unique. Anyhow, this is how we made that attempt;

Custom pre-aos.

fellucia ruleset.

One character per person.

no skill cap

stat cap is 300 with 120 cap for a specific skill.

Everything of use is craft able or harvest able and almost anything you find in game has value. Vendors will not buy or sell here.

Farming system for gathering regs and other plants (flax, wheat, food). How many regs and successes to harvest is based on magery and cooking for everything else.

Magical Items are rare, the loot tables have been adjusted to a more moderate level.

Crafted armor and weapons have bonuses based on material type. The lesser materials give bonus to durability and the higher tiers also grant accuracy and damage bonuses.

No repair.

Housing is cheaper and we have custom plots. Decay rate is one year.

Townhouse rental.

Player vendors do not charge a commission.

We have starter quests, with more to come, steal able deco and rares, locked treasure chests, most dungeons are already spawned, custom creature encounters and custom locations.

Skill gain is hard past 50 and the difficulty scales with level after.

A hunger system is in place, hunger and thirst will effect regeneration rates and skill gain chance. Foods are useful here also for stamina (soon health and mana) like potions and their values increase with the rarity of the food source.

A murder count lasts a year and one count will make you red.

There is a very small death penalty in place that will only effect stats and skills at higher levels.

Anyhow, if your interested here is our info:
