ServUO 57.1 set to UOR exp. trying to create uor era shard so I got fel and tram .xml spawn files that are based off that era. Put them in Spawns folder, reran winrelease.bat and recreated world but it still has the default spawn. Is there something i need to do to import the new felucca.xml and trammel.xml files so it has more era accurate spawn?
 
As far as I know, there were never any era specific spawn, only general spawn over the years to match OSI at the time of creation! Like Nerun's, or ArteGordons XML Spawn, done by the community, best to just modify existing spawn to how you like or do the research and match up to the era you want, because I doubt anyone has plans on working on creating era specific spawn!
 
You probably have the old spawners still down as well, you can delete them, might be a pain to manually go through them all, you can do a reset [clearfacet or a complete server wipe and make sure to only add the raven ones, don't allow default to be placed either by not using the command to build world, and/or limit what is built from default, etc etc, this always depends on what version your using and what is supported!
 
Ok taking your advice and trying to load without [createworld. Started over from scratch. Got npcs and spawn with xmlload felucca.xml, doors with doorgen, gates with moongen, deco with decorate, signs with signgen. teles with [telgen and the spawn looks pertty era accurate so far. Yes!!! Do I need to save the spawner xml with [XmlSpawnerSaveAll or anything to "lock" this spawn in after a restart so the normal servuo mobs dont sneak in? Thanks for your help Wilson.

The server has a overall save, you can manually trigger it with [save ... if you haven't changed the default time, it should be saving every 5 mins iirc.
 
ya it does save auto, i just didnt no if I had to lock in the spawn with a specific save. so xmlspawnersave command would be if i manually played with the spawner gump in game and wanted to keep it? sorry for the newb questions, day 2 of trying to make a shard. i got the mobs i want but some mobs like lichs are way diff, gotta figure out how to make lichs not do necromancy as its deff not UOR accurate hah.
 
Correct, the sml save is for when editing the spawner, the game save does the main saving of state! As for the lichs not doing necro, you can set/edit there script to use the spell class you wish, also, did you use the config to set the era of server? This will do a lot when it comes to general systems, turning them back to a early era!
