Is there a way to increase the difficulty of all creatures on the shard, like an edit in BaseCreature or something similar to just make everything harder?
 
Well, I did write a couple mobiles to help train fighting skill. I'll bet you could create a static item to control the difficulty level and just throw the alterdamage modules in the basecreature.
