New here - hoping to host a UO server for some friends

Hi all!

I came here off a suggestion I saw that, being completely new, ServUO might be what I would need to get a small UO server up to show to friends and new players.

Sounds like a good plan. I think the latest ServUO will work for you right out of the box, and it includes XmlSpawner and a folder full of standard spawns to get you going. Just type [XmlLoad and you will have a fully spawned world. Then use the [admin gump to decorate, generate doors, signs and moongates.
