How to Download and Start Server?

Hello, just wondering how I would go about downloading the master copy of the most updated client and starting it up on my own computer as a server? Just looking to try my hand at scripting and stuff a little bit, have no experience, so don't really know where to start.

hi. I got a server to run and loged in but i see its like a blank slate. Its cool and all but i just wanted to play some old school, not invent it =) hah
