How's it going everyone. I just joined servuo a couple days ago. UO was the first MMO I ever played all those years ago. While RunUO was active I dabbled on Hybrid and Demise both and had a lot of fun but always wanted to do things my own way. I'm currently in the process of getting my bachelors in Computer Science and thought it would be fun to try and start my own server.
Very Quickly, I found out how limited my knowledge is, and have since started trying to learn C# as I go. Thus far I have not tried to create my own script and have just been modifying scripts I find and fixing errors as I go. My goal is to eventually have my own custom scripts and content that I can implement on my server.
For now, all the adjustment and tweaks are falling to me for my server, however, my brothers who are both passionate about UO as well are playing with me, helping me find bugs and other things as we go through. Thus far it has been quite a difficult road, and I have definitely come to appreciate the time and effort that your guys have put into these scripts and content. As time goes on I hope to be a contributor to the MMO community as much as I am a player.
