I'm not trying to shamelessly plug what we've done on my shard, but I'm just curious if anyone has ever done an in-depth pirate system before?

It's a HUGE read up, but well worth it. Luthius has worked tirelessly getting this working properly and it's finally ready and in a stable state on our beta test server.
We think this will be a major draw to the shard, but what are your guys thoughts on piracy in UO? I don't think I've ever seen a really solid, working system like this before.

So they can't buy ship deeds correct and can only craft them? Which would seem correct with such a wonderful system. Best of luck with your server!
