Project Ultima Alpha Test Announcement!

Greetings, brave adventurers of Ultima! We are thrilled to unveil the Alpha test phase for Project Ultima, our ambitious endeavor to redefine the Ultima Online Renaissance (UOR) experience. Your feedback is invaluable as we embark on this exciting journey, and we invite you to join us in shaping the future of our Project.

Alpha Test 1 will commence on January 26th at 8pm CST, and will end on February 2nd at midnight CST.

Here are the key focus areas for our Alpha test:

Paragon System and Loot Drops:
The testing of the rebalancing to our Paragon system. To ensure an engaging and rewarding experience.
Fine-tuning paragon encounters and loot distribution for a challenging yet fair gameplay.

⚔️ Overall Skill Gain:
Comprehensive examination of skill progression rates.
Balancing the skill gain curve to enhance character development without sacrificing challenge.

New Player Training Area and Dungeon:
Evaluating the effectiveness of the new player training zone.
Balancing difficulty to provide a smooth transition from novice to seasoned adventurer.

New Wrestling Weapons: Nunchaku(One-Handed) and Claws (Two-Handed):
Introducing and refining the mechanics of these exciting new weapons.
Ensuring balanced integration into the combat.

Skill Trainers and Training Credit System:
Testing the efficiency and accuracy of skill trainers.
Evaluating the functionality, fairness, and starting amount of training credits given to new
characters.

Skill Scroll System:
Testing the current implementation of skill scrolls.
Testing and balancing rarity of skill scrolls based on the benefit of +1.0 skill point that they provide.

Loot Revamp Alpha 1.0
Testing and fine tuning drop rates for rare drops. Including Magical Armor and weapons.
Ensuring that rare drop rates and gold drop amounts provide a satisfying and balanced reward.

Reworked Veteran Reward System:
Introducing and testing new rewards for loyal, seasoned players.
Balancing the incentives to encourage continued dedication.

New Mob Difficulty Score:
Implementing a dynamic mob difficulty score. Calculated from the stats of each creature.
Balancing the weight of each stat in the scoring system, to ensure an accurate representation of the mob's difficulty.

Smart Harvest:
Testing the efficiency and fairness of the smart harvest system.
Balancing resource gathering for a more immersive economy.

New Young Player System and Area Restrictions:
Introducing a system to cater to young players.
Testing area restrictions to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for newcomers.
