Strange Noble issue

Hi all

I have an odd, reoccurring problem

In a remote area in Trammel, a forest area, I have a huge spawn of noble that keep reappearing.

Some 10,558 of them to be precise, with another 1000ish Seekers of adventures.

All in the same area, walking around evenly spaced out, over a huge range.

There's no xmlspawner or normal spawner which is producing these nobles, as I ran a test by deleting all spawners/xml spawners, but they still remained

I kill them off, then a few days later I notice the number of mobiles on the shard goes from 9000ish, to about 21k, all of which appear to be nobles lol

Can anyone suggest where else I might find how they are spawning?
 
Couple questions :)
Have you added or changed any scripts which would be for these npcs?
Just a few thoughts
This only happens in trammel?
You tried [xmlfind with the npc name?
Do you have any other spawners other then normal runuo spawners and xml?
Any scripts for these npcs which might contain a MoveToWorld
Could also try [global interface Location Where Noble Map = Internal

It only seems to happen in Trammel, yep
I did do XMLFind, none of the spawners which had nobles/seekers, had more than 1-3 as the max count or total spawned.
But I also deleted all xmlspawners and the nobles remained, wouldn't they dissapear if they were spawned through the xmlspawner stone(s)?
I'm only running the XML spawner system, the premiumspawner from Neruns is installed, but there are none spawned

I did run that command, no results

It's an old shard, so it has a few quirks, lol, so i'm going to replace some of the files with those from the ServUO distro
I just replaced all the human/brigand etc camp files, so we'll see what happens
 
Such an odd problem for sure, especially with all the spawners being removed.
So replacing those files have helped with the problem so far?

I remember the server I was on when updated to when Tokuno came in. The mine/dung area there we kept seeing addons placed there on the very outside, would remove them go back the next day and they appeared there once again, was very weird!

Did you happen to add a Champ Spawn system that perhaps was coded badly? ("Hey, let's go fight the Escort Queen!")
 
No on the champ system. It was just weird seeing them all in one area, spaced out evenly over a huge area.
30 nobles and 33 seekers of adventure shard wide, so far.
 
Wild guess but have you tried looking in your data directory XML files to see if they could be spawning the mobiles there?
I'm guessing this could possibly be in Data\regions.xml or Data\Locations\trammel.xml.

Since both Noble and SeekerOfAdventure appear in SpawnDefinitions.xml, there's a chance these could be spawned through region spawning.

Try walk into the region where they are spawning and type [where. It will tell you what region you are in. Then search for that region in these XML files.
 
Heh yep, it seems to have been those files you mentioned, Jack
Weird, I don't remember altering those, but since replacing them a few weeks ago, there's only been about 25ish nobles spawned
