Question: Are the new Gump Image IDs the same as the art API #s? I assume they are, just double checking.

Just checked the ItemIDs too and noticed those don't line up and would replace a bunch of existing art. So I'm guessing they don't line up

I noticed in the patch notes they say you can interact with gold via the bank box. but i haven't seen any new containers.
has anyone seen how they do that?

They didn't add a new container, they made a separate new gump pop-up with the bank box, and it's seriously ugly; I hope it's just a place-holder for a better design lol. It's just your standard gump, you could probably code it in under 10 minutes.

DMurphy has a screenshot of it somewhere, but posting it might cause your monitor to break, due to the ugliness of it.
 
so i downloaded a new copy of the client and installed to a different folder - works

Re-installing in the folder it normally goes to (even after deleted) seems to do nothing even after trying a few times.. Maybe it saves hidden files it calls on somewhere? New install in a folder on desktop worked great

They added a second gump that opens when you open your bank gump, it is largely irrevelant to us as most of the functions in it are to do with transfering your character and gold. There is also functions to add gold to your wall safe if you have one.

I hope like hell this graphics for the new mobs is just testing and not final. as there the worst I have yet seen. none of them even look like dino's
and the danm dragon turtle has this huge looking smile.
Also new Furs and hides is for the new armors. There is Tiger fur and the new hides I'm assuming is scales from the dragon turtle.
I emailed there support for TC1 and told them the graphics are way under what I expected for new mobs.

also told them the pop up gump with bank was horrible and no thought put into it. I said for this being the first patch I am so disappointed and they have hyped us for nothing. If this wasn't free for me being a paying subscriber I would never buy it.


This hole first Patch so far has very disappointment to me I'm sure a lot of you agree.

Only things I did enjoy seeing was the new Currency System and having more items to décor my house with.

The new map area looks pretty interesting so far, but a couple of the new builds there don't look so great :) I'm not even seeing the new
mobs in UO Fiddler- all the new items I can see. Are those numbers suppose to be for the actual mobs?
What I really do like are the new walls, floors and items- clothes (a little test below)

Yeah those are the new New Nov id's. Don't laugh to hard when u see them. Also if uo thinks dinosaur looked like chickens I would fire the artist lol
 
Oh it's bodyvalue :) They went overboard with the size of the large turtle!! Plus I have to agree a few of the mobs don't look so good :/

I am trying to think of areas where the bank balance is directly interacted with.

These are the areas I have accounted for. If you can think of any else please let me know!
  • balance command
  • Player Vendors
  • House placement
  • vendors when amount >= 2000
  • withdraw command
  • Insurance
  • guild creation
  • stable
Also, those body values are horrible. I hope they are improved upon before the expansion is released.

I think that pretty much covers them all except Check command and House demolition
 
Bulk orders give gold

i think those might still give gold/checks?
kind of like a npc vendor teaching skills, you give them gold. unless they changed that

i believe he's asking about situations when it normally checks or involves gold in your bank

@dmurphy what about bags of sending?

i have been wondering about this nice share here. i found the turmer map but its pritty incomplete as of yet. where is this milva?
 
The new map area is Termur cords for this spot above would be 590 1853 45
few other cords for areas are 914 2014 77 637 1717 100- I have found other build areas but very hard to tele around
 
I am 99% positive I have the new gold and trading system working as per OSI. It is hard to test these things alone :p

I am going to get some sleep now and when I wake up tomorrow will give it one more pass over and make sure it is working as intended. If it is I will commit it to the repo.
 
Well Voxpire and I have been working on it together but when it comes to testing in game it's pretty much just using two accounts and trading back and forth :p
 
So if [Tele doesn't work very well in the new area, it usually means one of a few things;

1) They didn't update TileData with the appropriate TileFlags for the new artwork yet.
2) Your client patch broke the map's statics (this also happened when they added the Blackthorne Castle dungeon).
3) Your shard isn't using the updated client map or statics files.
 
I'm able to walk on any stairs and bridges (there are 2 new very long bridges) Inside of buildings, but not able to walk on the ground/map at all. Some area's don't look as though they are finished quite yet-once all the patches are complete then maybe the map will work - my data path was set to the new test client also
 
I have just updated the repo
  • Add TOL expansion to core. Set current expansion to TOL by defailt
  • Add support for new trade system packets
  • Add support for new account based gold ledger. Requires expansion to be set to TOL.
There was core changes so ServUO.exe will need to be recompiled.

I would love if people could play around with it and try and find any issues :)
